Xulon Author Releases Book of God-Inspired Wisdom
Longwood, FL (PRWEB) May 8, 2008 -- "You can be an overcomer in different areas of your life by putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ." Those are sound words of wisdom from Xulon author Holly Ironfield, whose aptly-named book, Words of Wisdom (paperback), was written with the intent to build up the body of Christ. By encouraging readers to use their faith in Christ and to help those who are in the world to overcome the difficult situations they are facing in their lives, says the author, we will all be able to live victorious lives for Christ and, in doing so, make the world an infinitely better place.
"My book strengthens (readers') faith in Christ," the author says. "My book helps them in situations in their life and [tells them what to do to be an overcomer. My book encourages you to share your faith with others. My book shares the gift of salvation. The gift of salvation is a free gift. Salvation can not be earned or worked for. God loves you. He will take you in your current situation. If you ask Him to forgive you of your sins, He will forgive you."
By studying and praying to God, Ironfield received the inspiration needed to pen Words of Wisdom. As an adolescent in school she won awards for her poetry, and as an adult she has won awards for her prose in various contests. But, says the author, each of her writings was God-inspired: "I do not believe in writing something just to write it. I believe you must be led by the Holy Spirit. I know (because of this) my book will encourage those who read it."
